This intensive, hands-on workshop will focus on fruit trees and shrubs, and incorporates an in-class component and outdoor, hands-on instruction. Key takeaways include: good tree structure; intro to usage and maintenance of pruning tools; and best practices for pruning and maintenance to encourage the long term health of the trees and shrubs and good fruit production.
The Instructor Gregoire Lamoureux has been pruning fruit trees in many parts of the country for the last 30 years. He is a permaculture teacher who has taught permaculture courses at Selkirk College for over 20 years.
